Amron Umbilical Sheath

Umbilical sheaths are recommended to cover and protect your umbilical from damage, snags and abrasions as well as protect it from UV light exposure, corrosive water and marine environments.

Decades ago, Amron developed the UMB-SH umbilical sheath with the US Navy by taking a sketch and having it developed. The newest version of Amron’s UMB-SH sheath has been rigorously tested and engineered for its demanding purpose. Materials were carefully selected by conducting abrasion field tests dragging the materials over rough surfaces and objects with heavy weights to select the most rugged and resistant materials.

Application

• Fits standard 3-part diving umbilicals (air, pneumo, and comms)
• Fits standard 4-part diving umbilicals with hot-water hose (air, pneumo, comms, and hot water hoses)
• Fits 5-part diving umbilicals with max. outside diameter of 1.75 in.*

Note: If you have a 5-Part Diving Umbilical, you will need to confirm your umbilical diameter does not exceed 1.75 in. This umbilical sheath has been confirmed to fit a standard 3-Part Diving Umbilical (Air, Pneumo, and Comms) and 4-Part Diving Umbilical with Hot Water Hose (Air, Pneumo, Comms, and Hot Water).
