Notes

  • Umbilical lengths are subject to +/- 2% over/under the quoted length.
  • Australian Standards AS2299.1 3.13.6 requires that the minimum breaking strength of any potential load bearing component of a diver’s umbilical or lifeline shall be at least 6 kn (600 kg). This umbilical does not meet that standard. Please contact Left Surface for alternate spiral umbilical material that can meet this standard.

  • ✓• U.S. Navy 5-pin male MS connector on the surface end of the comm cable.
  • ✓• Snap shackle (MWL 2980 lb. / BL 5950 lb.) with welded D-ring installed on diver end, seized 48 in. from the umbilical end.
  • ✓• D-ring installed on the surface end, seized 10 ft. from the umbilical end.
  • ✓• Brass tag showing manufacturing and testing information.
  • ✓• Fully tested, includes testing certification.
