The Mako is SEAMOR Marine’s newest ROV. With a large open frame design and versatile mounting options, this vehicle can carry a variety of accessories and has the power capacity to run them all at once.
The Mako’s payload (14 kg standard, upgradable to 22.5 kg) allows users to install heavy instrumentation, including multi-beam imaging sonars. Users can easily mount and position accessories without any special tools. The ample space in the accessory bay also improves flow-through, which ensures maximum thruster efficiency, making it easy to fly the Mako no matter the payload.
The Mako comes standard with eight (8) SEAMOR- designed thrusters; four (4) of these are vertical thrusters that provide a more stable flight. We have arranged the Mako’s four (4) horizontal thrusters to maximize forward thrust.
Heavy payload: 14 kg (30 lb) standard; upgradeable to 22.5 kg (50 lb)

The SEAMOR Marine Auxiliary Light is an easily-installed and positioned independent light source. This compact unit will light up even the darkest corners of the deep. With a 125 degree beam angle and cool white LEDs it allows objects to be seen just how nature intended. Great for task specific operations or used in conjunction with a vehicle’s main lighting system to remove shadows. All standard SEAMOR Marine vehicles come with ports for two Auxiliary lights.
The same rugged and durable construction that SEAMOR uses in its ROVs has been incorporated in to the Auxiliary Light. The Auxiliary Light is pressure tested and rated to 600metres. The entire unit is serviceable by SEAMOR Marine or an authorized dealer. A full one year limited parts warranty is provided, and the various components of the Auxiliary Light can be serviced individually without having to replace the entire product.

The SEAMOR Marine Auxiliary Camera is an easily- installed and re-positionable standard definition colour or black and white camera. This accessory opens up a world of new possibilities for ROV pilots. Being able to view a different angle, behind the ROV, or close-up on a manipulator will provide even more reliable information for pilots to operate and maneuver their vehicles.
The same rugged and durable design that SEAMOR put into its ROVs has been incorporated into the Marine Auxiliary Camera. All aspects of the camera are pressure tested to 600 metres. The entire unit is serviceable by SEAMOR or an authorized dealer. In contrast to other companies’ cameras which cannot be repaired, the SEAMOR Marine Auxiliary Camera can be repaired – a 1-year limited warranty on failed parts is provided, and further servicing can be specifically targeted to the segment affected, such as the electronics or the camera, without having to repair the entire unit.

Enhance the capabilities of your ROV with the addition of a SEAMOR Dual Function Gripper.
With the Gripper strategically mounted in view of the ROVs on-board camera the pilot can easily maneuver into a pick up position to retrieve objects up to 90 mm (3.5”) diameter.
The 360 degree continuous wrist rotation allows the jaws to be placed in the optimum gripping position as well as turn objects for placement or to use as a winding tool.
Once the object is firmly in its grip the power of the ROV takes over to bring it directly to the surface or place it in a waiting retrieval basket.
A gripper/cutter attachment capable of cutting cut fishing line, netting and small nylon ropes to free entangled articles is also available.
